Many Bible scholars believe that Satan is the demon within, always lurking, always seeking, always trying to hide and disguise his very existence.

And for that reason, I believe "that place deep inside" that allows us to "once again take back your soul" is our connection with God.
For we are never alone. God is everywhere. His presence is what allows us to move on. All we have to do is ask.

A wonderful piece, Carole. I love your words. I love your phrasing. I love everything you share with us.

A brilliant personification, Carole. It is a great idea to adopt this approach so that you can sort out what is "you" and what not... Distancing oneself from the Dreaded Beast makes victory probable and possible. It is something I can readily identify with and once you take back the power and become proactive, the tables start to turn. Great advice written in a very clear and yet compelling way. TY Kate xx

Everyone has at some time encountered that time and place where the demon or demons reach to grasp our souls and destroy us...it is even deeper where one must find the escape and reach back taking control of oneself, sometimes with the help of the One who fights for us....

Demons do seem so easy to follow. It takes a strong person to overcome their power. It's always easier to come down a ladder than to climb up but either way when you reach the top or bottom rung there's nowhere else to go.
