The phone rings

you pick up the receiver

and place it next to your ear

 you hear that voice

the one that is steeped

in husky amber

and midnight velvet

Your voice lowers

to a  honeyed breathy caress

as both voices

slide  across the phone lines

like silk ribbons

winding around  your words

in a dance of

velvet seduction

They touch and slowly connect

teasing, enticing

offering

That voice can weave magic

with promises of

wrapping you in a satin fog

of passionate seduction
