~Faded Memories~

memories become
wrapped around fantasy
in reality
a pile of dust
in old clothing

I found some... just today.
Your words are perfect for what happens to memories.
But, I like it that way. Some need to be changed into fantasies.

Memories do have a way of becoming less than accurate.

Isn't that that the truth! I love the way you make an entire story in one simple sentence.

Dear Carole :

So how true it is.

Your poem "Faded Memories" describes
just how we all relate to the faded
memories of our past.

We always remember the past and kind of
add a dash of something with that never
was ever there to begin with.

So true, short, and well done.

Thanks for sharing,

Stephen Pollard

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
