Through the door shrouded in iconic warning

I slipped with a determined flinch

I'm in the heart of it now. This is the center where all things go and leave.

With pretended machination, I nod forward and slip headlong into nothing.

The light spreads like an ink stain on a sheet.

I'm elsewhere.

A comical look back and I'm casually unaware of the logic surrounding this.

I wander out and seek my road back to that which just expelled me.

I'll find that I'm called back to be removed and rebirthed.

I whistle and mumble this:

Hallways
always
Through the doors
maybe through yours
back to my empty
and this time you come, too.
