The darkness pooled around me
the chorus of concentrated void

I will suffer this passage

The sense of motion regards me
familiar unknowns ebb gently

I am acutely awash in presage

Bending tendrils of ebon direction
expel me from the absence

In peels of dawning regard

Memory chokes out the uncertainty
and firmament rushes in anew

the nether reduced to a shard

I keep it within itself
and there it sleeps shallow

awaiting fresh terrors to invoke

For it bursts forth as whimsy
devours as base jealousy

in search of those to provoke
