The Second Offense
I looked at it.
I saw the eternity within its compromise
I was, at once, regarded and reminded
Of the things I should be seeking
And the moral quandaries I should eschew
I heard it.
Choral placards of invitation peeled from within
And without sound, the rhythm pulsated
Marking the passage of time
In cavernous thought echoes of embarkation
I smelled it.
It assailed my senses with such contextual aroma
Memories entwined with emotions
Grappling for display and rudiment
Intoxicating the field of perception
I tasted it.
The warm copper taste of blood and life
And the subtle vibration of charge
Danced on the tongue a minuet of salience
In endless involuntary sighs
I felt it.
I was symbiotically connected
To an electrical impulse of proximity
A conductivity of metaphysical presences
Bringing about a profound sense of inclusion
very well done
From a bio-magnetic chemical symbiosis intense emotions
boiled in the pot of creative visions, rainbows of awareness reflected in the mirror of knowledge, and imagery painted with
words dictated by the voice of a wise soul poetized this masterpiece, named "Concatenation (Part II)".
I salute You, Sublime Poet!
