Part 1

The initial investment was twenty
and would then be open to all
inert they would know visions aplenty
and suffer not a whit of the fall

Soon it was availed to the masses
and ponder it much did they
some scrambled for the first passes
and others for politician's sway

The process became a new trend
a way to fast forward survival
a harmless way to not end
but it wasn't allowed per the Bible

And so did the bitter division ensue
and violence followed strong talk
those who opposed knew what to do
and to their emissaries they did hawk

"Stop this now it is abomonation!"
came ringing down from the pulpit
The worm turned and became segregation
greed and the devil - the culprit

With the might and will of the majority
and the determination to abuse it
Subjugating the populist authority
They banded together to effuse it

Those under thrall met a certain death
as they were committed back to earth
in the pause no escape- one last breath
and common sense became as a dearth
