What's wrong with me?
Is my temperment wrong
to sing you a song?
When I open my throat - you flee
Oh, you may look
then your head shook
closed the bad book
this writer forsook
Why does my candor offend?
Is my truth just too base
or too in your face
to olive branch me as friend?
Oh, I keep going
my heart still showing
my persistance glowing
your chagrin yet growing
When did my welcome turn sour?
At what critical point
did my work disappoint?
When the silence ran down in a shower
Yes, the cold, still
some with iron will
allude to some skill
culling from the mill
Who leads this charge of indifference?
Stand and be known
and the disservice shown
Love devolve me from preference
Ah, the white fire
each word a liar
further from the spire
death unheard to acquire
How does one return from the abyss?
Does the summation story
somehow restore the glory?
Is it futility to persist?
Sigh, light is gone
black without icon
ever the muse's pawn
yet continue anon

Love it..saved it..love your style..great work..wow!!!
In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
This collection of poetry addresses the nature of time, reflections on the natural world, the difficulty of loss,
contemporary social issues and gratitude for life.
