In the waning glow
of a shallow day
replete with growth
and conscious cliche
I make my mark
on dissolute fray
chalk-up awareness
to subversive play

My inversion though,
a reminded gray
some reveler's oath
sustains me this way
Of the deepest dark
I cannot true say
dare not to transgress
fear ever holds sway

nice, tight rhyme ... no dobt, you can make your mark on whatever inspires you, even the deepest dark and the unavoidable fear ...

A wise composition on ontologic thoughts... "Century's End"
provides nourishment to build an active mind.

I have enjoyed the reading of this poetic-philosophic grand.

I salute You, Poet!
