Erosion

I see the pieces of me
They drift away from my whole

I feel the pieces of me
They sift astray through my hole

I clutch the pieces of me
They leek around my fingers

I grasp the pieces of me
They creek a sound that lingers

I chase the pieces of me
They spill uneasy in silent theft

I erase the pieces of me
They mill queasy in violence left
