Over Your Shoulder

Regret is the little death
that eats the big fear

The penultimate breath
that lingers ever near

Trailing always after
in claustrophobic burst

A servant to its master
a mistake - your worst

well stated..kind of gave me the chills :P excellent word choice too!! I didn't know what 'penultimate' meant until the last Lemony Snicket book came out (yeah, I'm a dork lol)..still haven't found an appropriate place to use it...and you care why? lol have fun! enjoy your day! no, I'm not drunk :P Danielle
