You're doing what?
I see...
I don't think you do, though
Start of a trend methinks
But, don't be caustic
It's Sunday
A holy day
A day full of holes
Holes in our heads
In our memories
in our hearts

So it is said
and so it has been done
to death it seems
another takes the torch to line
and girds up for a try at
the rushes
do they succeed for the trying?
methinks

I know it seems likely
that I exaggerate the blissfully
innocent or unintended
but for the knowledge
that it is so
and that is so
and so
what?

Exactly.

That...

Exactly that...

There is no tomorrow safe from the little death of yesterday, not even in ignorance.

The last line was so powerful and true Brian...
"It's Sunday
A holy day
A day full of holes
Holes in our heads
In our memories
in our hearts
"

No safe place.....

Beside Still Waters by Jill Eisnaugle

Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
