In the waking traces
without recall
for the world has gone before
and danced on the apex of a dream

A thought and a measure
made living through mischief
watered in colors with brushes of emotion
lines spilling over

Fanciful and frightening
and both and neither
spires of emptiness filled with maybe
with the reality of fiction

Here is where we are
aloft on whimsy
parading on disjointed limbs
in a cascade to morning's break
