Tamed and True

Harlequin girls
spinning lazily in effort
wanting furiously
that which nature dictates
and common sense deems
unsavory

Pantomime pundits
willing to win in excess
staging carefully
that some sense unseemly
and purists regard as
epiphany

Bleeding hearts
beating apart
pooling blood
in heart shaped lakes
