Second Helpings

I plaintively beg that you will understand

Know how I am broken - stop, think, don't

You capitulate; anger for me - none for you

Don't internalize and forget what you know

Understand this entropy between you and I

 

Why can it not be said to puzzle over much?

It is bereft of merit and reasonably so

Hurts to touch, to say - it simply hurts

So, find the light inside of what's left of it

Much to mend - no time to ask why
