My meager tribute to John Coltrane...

You strobe our conscious Expanding space, infinite Then fall down down down down and jump like the earth's on fire Are you a fallen angel begging for redemption, not wanting to set yourself down? You saw His face, didn't you? A billion lumens of love and light That made you too high to come down Come down to this... This counterfeit of heaven... ��

Nothing at all meager about this extraordinary tribute to the jazz prophet Coltrane. I'm sending it to a jazz-poet that I know will print and very possibly frame it. You did Coltrane pround.
