Very cool write Linda! I've written some poems
about him at least one hmmmm...remember I told
you to listen to that sound swhoooooossssshhhh
that's information going over the top of my head.
lol Anyways it was a sad day when James Dean died.

James Dean's death affected me deeply as it did most teens of the 50s. I thought he was the coolest of the cool, and I still have a
fan shot somewhere amongst my belongings.
The comparison of his reckless, hurried attitude towards life...with the easy-going Jimmy Dean of country western fame is really a perfect contrast.
You are a talented lady, Ms Gayton.

How do you do it? I read these words with something approaching envy. It builds to such a climax and then you drop in those words '...oh go on then' and POW! Great stuff!

Well if they are destined to live in the fast lane the safety of your arms is sad. A poignant write here and so often repeated on the highways. But perhaps Barbara had a good answer too.
