Last full milky blue moon of winter
sets sail across a white capped sea
Crows cackle and dance and announce Spring's return
On a bare and brown mast Tall branches that tower against the ink stained ocean
The tree's sails rest unfurled on
the rigging
But at a predestined hour and in the proper rhythm
will open to their full green glory
and speed wonder on azure seas
I walk in the mystery of this blue velvet wonder
And shiver in the stillness
My breath white ghosts of fog
that rise and cross the Crow's Moon
As the ship's light journeys me home...
A mesmerizing tale full of spring imagery. I see my rose plants starting to come alive and my grass getting greener by the day. Well done Linda on your spring journey sailing with the winds of the new season.

A brilliantly conceived, image-filled piece, Linda!
The words fairly rolled around on my tongue, so that
I could almost taste spring!

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, (((HUGS))), and a very Happy Easter, Barbie
What a splendid, mystical portal to cross, in a soft, velvety flight, and feel the Crow's shades become the milky ones of the Moon... as they do, when each cycle is complete and thus begins once more.
