If the vertigo comes to a stop you're lucky. Illusions can be very
powerful. Sometimes the hardest thing in life to do is hold on to your dreams. Interesting write.

This is so excellent, Linda! How we can relate to that dizzy spin in life - or out of life! - for varying reasons. With me, I feel like it most of the time, actually... I feel like a wander about on a different plane, and my objective reality and mood and how I relate to life around me very much depends on what I'm thinking about and meditating and trying to get my brain round at the time... my thoughts are usually struggling about inspirational matters and sifting thoughts about understanding - rather than concentrating on what I'm going to put on the table for supper!! As you might therefore guess, I am a terminally hopeless timekeeper... which might also account for my "dizzy spin"!! I enjoy your spacey style here and your seriously pared back format. You say much with few carefully chosen words and images. Ver well done! TY Kate xx

i certainly sympathize with this poem ... at times, the past and the future can distract us from The Now and set us into us spin until we balance our "unrealized dreams" ...

many excellent lines ... i especially like:

Well, there are these tricky moments of dizziness in life, when we don't know if we are actually standing, tumbling head-over-heels, or upside down... lol! But then, the dizziness stops... and it's good to feel that our dreams haven't shot through the roof of sky out of sight... ;0)... but have been planted within a fertile nest from where they can take wings and soar! Hang on tight, Linda... and dream on!

Linda dear, I have been there many times over. Now I have my feet planted firmly on solid ground, and I look only to the past now, to recall the wonderful times I had. I have been on the ferris wheel, looking over everyone else, I have been on the roller coaster of life, going so fast, I didn't have time to stop for anything, much less myself. I have been on the Tilt-A-Whirl, my thoughts just so dizzy, that I coudn't see what was next. I have been there, and I do not want to go there again. Thnx for sharing dear, this is very good.
