'...Some nights, although we are faithless, the truth enters our hearts-that small familiar pain...'

-Carol Ann Duffy

Poem Artwork

I seek-it flies

How delicate-
Destiny's silk bands

How foolish my desired grasp

One moment held beauty

Chrysalis-a sheltered state

Now this heart
Is two fluttered chambers

Now is emptiness...

Poetic whiteness and clarity that is pure feng shui (?? !! forgotten - is that right?) and like a piercing shaft of inspiration/revelation combined. I think it is impossible to believe in nothing - otherwise what is that which is sought? I feel there is an aching and a longing here that is sooo hungry and yearning... a person in transition that is determined to press through the birth/death cycle in pursuit of the soul's taking flight - as elusive as that may be. Flawless beauty! TY Kate xx

As always excellent... old Bible verse "we must lose it, before we can find it."

A deeply humbling and stirringly beautiful vision of the poetic quest for meaning. Lovely the way the lines rendered battle against the emptiness observed.
