Love bleeds--the soul descends a heavy weight into night Love bleeds but does not retreat--it hangs in the air weeping stones in my eyes Love bleeds--bloodshot morning begs for clear sight the sting of words deny Sweet forgiveness starts with a cup of coffee and dangles on the end of a spoon Fingers are poised for words that won't come and the clock stops time as sugar waits in the bowl Love bleeds--we are bruised mute until the need surpasses the pain Love bleeds--love is remembered, pride falls away and we stumble back into embrace

Love bleeds and it can hurt... but it can also take us to unimaginable places within our souls, when two become one... sometimes we just need to "do it" and live for the embrace and forget the pain... excellent write
