In my cocoon I vibrate asleep-shut out from the light A thin veneer of day glows through the silk layers that hold me fast My tensiled tomb unravels when a breeze or a breath spins it 'round Sound silent as the thoughts that hold me in-but slowly I am transformed I feel a stutter in time-a flutter of freedom in shadow Illusive truth forms the buds of wings I push the boundaries-break through the limits of my existance The brightness of light leaves me dizzy-it's aura surrounds me A tentative spread and then I sail on a sea of air-giddy, weightless and trembling
