EYE OF THE SUN stands as a very powerful and worthy monument to the victims of senseless brutality and terror. As the poet illustrates so well, the greater loss is not so much a physical existence, and the illusory gain is not political authority, but the end result is always spiritual turmoil, for the more immediate victims as well as for us all. Beautiful words about ugliness and hate. To combat this growing problem we must attack it at its core, and attack it decisively. If that means many people shall die, some maybe (maybe!) innocent, but to not strike decisively will only embolden these dogs of the world.
The cost can not be counted as it is the terrorist aim that by killing and maiming everday we will lose our will to fight them only to pay a higher cost by our submission to them.
