Work it, girl!! Nordette told me I should come read this. I've been a bit absent recently, but my visit today was well worth it. You have broken this basic "grown up woman" truth down to it's most atomic level. No holds barred, tell it like it is truth. I love it, love it, love it. JJ (a.k.a., Miss Joplin) is my girl, too. You should really hear my karaoke rendition of "Piece of my Heart." Well, maybe you shouldn't.

Linda- I'm with you here - well spoken. Though maybe time to consider a modern approach posed by another poet:

I Take Master Card by Nikki Giovanni (beginning stanza)
from book � Love Poems�

"I've heard all the stories
'bout how you don't deserve me
'cause I'm so strong and beautiful and wonderful and you could

She goes on to detail all the particulars with humorous take on modern love. Thanks for the rave. Those 'no commitment' desperados just don't know what they are missing..you are a gem!
