Poem Artwork

I know these arn't all true to form, as the three
lines should be 5, 6, 7 in syllable length, respectively.
Shouldn't have titled it as such, with only three poems conforming to the style which must pertain to the spirit and be expressed through nature, but I couldn't resist the play on words...

 Stricken

A man can be very wise about lightning
When out of the storm, it's not as frightening
A strike on the behind can be so enlightening!

567...9?

Twice I tried to fly
Falling too far from sky
"Third time is the charm", I sigh

Time

Some say all things are random
but what of the seasons in tandem?
I re-wind my clock with abandon

The Hush

I wait in stillness
Bird lights on the lake
Ripples find their way to me

Forgiveness

Oh that first golden beam of light
that from out of grey clouds stuns our sight
Rivals the moon on a tequila night

Garden Weeds

I dig blackberry roots
If a remnant is left
they re-grow, choking beauty

Numero Uno

First in line is last it seems
Running ahead of our dreams
we split our pants at the seams

Don't get it. They are definitely not tres linhas and yet you call them that. Even your comments before the poems fail to explain that. Poems are nice, just not what they say they are.

These are all gems in themselves and come from the fertile mind that created them. Excellent Linda. Three lines with so much body in them.

Hey, just cause you fall from flight, does not mean you did not actually fly...for that short fall, you were not falling, you were in reality flying...and if lightening did give you a shot on the butt, you would be flying like a jet...hope your landings are all soft...Ed
