Not as before when We danced The rhythm from Melodious slit-drum Not as before when We traversed The Sea shore, Observed the waves Whisper silent calls To the unknown Not as before when We swam the expanse sea Like figures driven by cupid's arrow Now, our love has take flight - washed ashore. A vale of tears fill My eyes each time I recall the quintessence that's you. Emeka Chike Nwogu
