The birds call
With the sweetness of your voice
You can't help but sing
Crushing the night
Seeping into the day
Contaminate my words with your rhythm

I beg for humility
To suppress myself
Under your weight
Simply oppression:
Sparrow with a leaf landing
Coming down into the warmth
