Why do you write your songs?
Where do you do your dreaming,
and does it take you long?
I'm asking this with some intent
Because I write on writing
At "Write Australian" (fortnightly)
I showcase stuff exciting.
I want to do some interviews
On Aussie poetry
Why poets write their pieces
working so industriously
I hope I've got my point across
(In limping rhyme I dally)

kay devenish would be one woman you should speak to. she is intelligent, talented, funny and an incredible woman all way round.
i've been fortunate to call her 'friend'.
