On this old cover
she is sleeping
Brown and white
her autumn tones.
Curled in casual
comfort she is
perfectly at peace -
at home.
Lovely one
a work of art. She's
all unconscious of the beauty
her warm presence lends
old fabric
in this melody of gold.

What a beautiful picture of contentment...Your words echo that....and the love you have for this little furry bundle of love are obvious....Love your poetry...Thanks, Dani
Still Living on my Feet is the follow up to Tichaona Chinyelu’s first book, In the Whirlwind, which was rooted in a sense of hard-hitting revolutionary black love. However, in this sophomore effort, Tichaona brings the revolutionary essence from deep
love images.
