My shadow stalks me


And flattens me into


A one dimensional person


I’ll wave my arms


For rescue


But you won’t come


I need saving


But appear as a stiff column


Impenetrable


But only the shadow of one


And only my shadows know me


But save me?


No, I have to strip them away


From my skin


To lose myself


In the delusions of a victim


                                        To do that.
