Awaken

I'll wake one day


Child in womb


And wondering


Where you are.


A babe lost


Torn from my arms


Will this new child


Be anything like you


What about their face?


Will it be a mask of yours?


But then,


I never knew you, did I?


I have to remind myself


You weren't real.


Just a lost soul that never was.
