He was in my fifth grade class, The sixth grade too, I looked at him with eyes of love, But all I could do was fast, Because he never saw this dove, Who had eyes only for his love.
I dreamed my silly dreams, Of a love that would make me scream, In my thoughts and my desire, But he could only mire, My most humble being, And went about without seeing, The girl in me, that loved him so.
I dreamed that one day I would ask, That in the sun, we would bask, Showing the world our soulful passion, And we would be a couple in our fashion, Of a love that just could not be, Because it was only in my dreams.
I sat there on that day of eternal love, And wondered if he ever could of, Been my very loving Valentine, The man I hoped would be mine.
When I was going up, they called it puppy love. But I declare it was the real deal, felt like real love to me. Barbie, I like this one, you penned it well.
