Can two souls still bond, even tho one is not physically on earth?

Can I Still Be My Mother's Daughter?
by Barbara Lynn Terry

Can I still be my mother's daughter?
Can we still bond together?
Is there still a chance we may succeed,
In being the friends each of us need?

I am in my mid life now;
But can I still show,
How much of a daughter I can be,
Even tho this girl she cannot see?

Can she still from Heaven's view,
See my aura's female hue?
Can we still accept each other,
As mother and wonderful daughter?

Can we bond together in our souls,
Making each one of us complete and whole?
Is it possible for though she's not here,
To bond in our souls without fear?

Can I still without fear and bother,
Be my mother's daughter?

This moved me to tears. It is my belief that love transcends ALL, because I know that when I leave this earth, my love will find a way to kiss and nudge and encourage my daughters in any way I can. Mothers always can. Their love is too powerful not to.

Barbie, my Dad died last year. I feel him with me every day. I hear his voice. And I know that he not only knows what I am feeling, but sees it through the loving eyes of heaven...something he wasn't able to do as a mere mortal. Your mother not only sees you, but knows your pain more profoundly than she could have in human flesh, knows the pain that she inflicted, and I'm certain is deeply sorry and wanting to see you happy. They are never far away Barbie. They wait for us, to welcome us, to let us know that we are loved. She knows Barbie, and loves you as a daughter, which is what you have always been despite the body that nature gave you. Hold onto that dear friend. Much love, Michelle

Dear Barbie,

I believe it can be so. My mother chose to leave this world early on. I have no doubt as to her presence. Thank you for sharing this soul-reaching write. Love and peace to you,

What a wonderful job you have done of expressing a dilemma that
all too many of us are faced with. Barbara, Luv, I want so
much to tell you Yes. Sadly, in my case, I am not sure I'll
ever get there. Think I'm making progress. For a long time,
I heard Jean's [i.e., mother's} voice clanging in my ear. {She
talked loud enough to wake the dead.} Been long enough now, that
volume is down to a low roar. I have always given her credit
for having wonderful qualities, but she wasn't able to give
a lot. Hurt herself and others. . .are you getting that it is a
long story? Book's coming, if I ever get it right. G o o d
n e w s is that I feel freer, and more able to forgive. Not
forget. . .that would be a mistake. But forgive, yes. It was
very hard to have her as a mother, but there are mothers who
are more vicious and. . .my mother cared, she just couldn't
change her behavior. . y'know? Like you, I was made to feel
stupid and inept and unwanted. I am going on too long. Way too long. Sorry. You are such a loving person, I feel I can
confide. In conclustion, . . .what?? B e y o u r o w n
p e r s o n. Best friend!! What I try to do. Sometimes it
actually works. With love, respect, and admiration, 'Pea' <3

My Mother is also gone. But I have never felt her presence more for it resides in my heart. Your Mother will always be near you, you simply need to think of her and she will be at your side.

We cling to the hope that in death, your mother realizes the mistakes she has made and reaches out with loving arms to caress her ever loving daughter.

Ah Barbie I think this says a lot about your willingness to forgive and forget as long as you know that it is still up to her to decide and pay the price if she decides the answer is no.
