This is what I do when there is no one else to talk to.

My Computer and I
By Barbara Lynn Terry

I have made many a friend,
And for those who use and insult me to no end,
I will will look the other way and will not bend,
I was sad, but was consoled,
For that is what a family is for,
And why friends come knocking on my door.
We sit and chat and have lots of fun,
While out of the glaring sun.
We look at the monitor screen,
And say things seemingly mean,
But tho' we have fun,
And happiness I have none,
It is all a mess,
I must confess,
In the twinkling of an eye,
For my computer and I.

Yes it is strange how we can become so close to an inanimate object and greive their sickness when they crash like they were really and truly friends.
