Silent Love
By Barbara Lynn Terry
Houses that are old, groan, moan, and creak
When the wind wildly whistles through the trees
And on a night like tonight, a forbidden tryst,
Two lovers will lie in the dawn’s heavy mist
Lying in each other’s arms softly and so sweet
That their meeting was forbidden you see
So they lie in the tall grass, and with each other be
Entwined and enraptured in love’s sweet bliss
So they could be together for that one special kiss.
The man is the handsome groom
The woman the lovely bride
But tonight neither of them swoon
In each other’s arms, as the forbidden meet,
Is between the bride and her maid of honor
In this field of Silent Love.

the second stanza seems a little bit muddled so your intention is somewhat unclear.
i enjoyed the wya you set this scene though...
the moaning and groaning of the houses which perhaps mask the moaning and groaning of the lovers in the field.
the forbidden element makes me think romeo and juliet... dunno if that was on purpose or whether thats just what ive been programmed to think.
good work =)
