This is how I see life on this dull planet.

The Mountain Of Life

By Barbara Lynn Terry

Climbing Mount Everest is easier

than running to a meeting

half way across town.

There are no traffic jams

no traffic lights, no multitudes

to take you hither by mistake.

On the mountainside there is

peace of mind, and relaxation

that allows for less stress.

As we climb upward toward the

peak, we ask ourselves why are

we here. To make our minds clear.

Climbing a mountain is a lot like life,

as we climb the corporate or social ladders

only to fall flat on our arses.

Climb the mountain of life, and see

just how much you miss being,

relaxed, peaceful, and stress free.

Ah but like Everest the challenge and the reward is all the greater for the level of difficulty we must persevere to reach the top...
