I like your poem Barbie, I'm an Aussie & new to this site I write a lot of Australian bush poetry & also am slowly posting some of my work here. To all my American & world wide friends If you ever get the chance to visit the land of Aus. please do, it is a beautiful place (I know I'm biased)hehehe!!......now to comment on your Magpies.

I have never been to Australia
Some day I hope that I have the opportunity
And the Money to visit
I'like Vickie would shout from the roof
I'm going to visit and meet my friend in person!!!

I have always wanted to come to Austrailia, and now....if you don;t mind my saying so....if I ever am blessed with the opportunity to go, I would love to say I am going to see my friend :)) (big grin)

A country that I think lives in the hearts of all romantics and adventurers. I have wanted to travel there since I was a small boy and hopefully someday I will. Well done Barbie.
