I would loose interest actually...hummmm....less there was variety in the XXX with a mix of primordial passion, lusting desires, & Love of course...ok maybe a little drama too ;)....ahhhh but I enjoyed your write as I always do!!

I have read a book from an author who uses a loooooonnnnnnggggg chapter to describe a scene, but didn't get to the point of the story. I was cursing and everything and got mad at the author for being so long winded .

Later I had given up on reading that book.

Yes, the first chapter of the book is very important. If the author cannot make the first chapter interesting enough to grasp the readers' attention, then might as well forget the whole book.

Also, some authors underestimated the readers, thinks everyone is a sex maniac, and put out sex, sex, and sex into the story. but the story lacks plots, is also a killer of the book. Honestly, sex is a mornal thing in everyone's life, do we always have to read about it too?

I have the same problem with the writing of TV sitcoms, today. The same themes have been replayed over and over again. The creativity is lacking.

Yes, I have and I try my best to avoid them... where are the creative people at? Give us something new. Publishers are guilty as well, they publish whats popular.
