What do you look for as you go walking after midnight?

I Go Walking After Midnight
by Barbara Lynn Terry

I got up because I couldn't sleep
and I could have sat and weeped
but instead I got out my clothes
and chose my black hose
to go with my black dress.

I took my coat that was light
and went walking after midnight.
I enjoyed all the colors I could see
by the rays of the moonlight
and I smiled at the sight.

There were oranges, yellows and reds
that was much better than my bed.
The air was very cool but not so
unbearable or really that cold
as my wanderer's lust was fed.

I walked through the park
even though it was after dark
and had saw the most marvelous sights
as I was walking after midnight.

Walks like this clear the cob webs from the mind so at morning light we can think more clear, very moving...

Be always safe,

Yes sometimes they only cure for the blues and sleeplessness that it brings is to get out of the house and look at another part of our space, for me it is going for a drive to the beach or to the harbour front and watching the lights and waves till they mesmerize my mind to what was troubling me...

Kool Barbara! I hope you don't do this though...but I guess all dressed in black you just might blend in with the midnight.
Hugs,
Anna
