A day can seem like years
when you cry nothing but tears
hoping to chase away your fears,

And when the night time fright
comes upon us we just might
be able to sit up and fight,

All the monsters and vampires
that keep us weighted and mired
as though walking the high wire,

And we are afraid to look down
while on the chair a toy clown
is looking at us with a frown.

What is wrong my friend
or don't you know this is the end
of the time we may spend,

Together and that through the years
we continually cry nothing but tears
hoping to chase away all of our fears?
