I have left the city of iniquity
where hatred and bigotry exist
and payola is too hard to resist
because there is no escape
in this ubiquitous state.

I have left the city of iniquity
for the meadows of tranquility
where my mind is free,
whole and complete to be
the girl that is me.

I have left the city of inquity
to take up and stand
against the any man
who would wantonly destroy me
forbidding me to be.

Remember then my friends
that even though life ends
as we know it in existence
leave the city of iniquity
and live in harmony and tranquility.
