There is something special about Vermont. It's still a part of my heart and beckons me to come back.

Vermont is on my mind, no
matter where I go. I see the
valleys of green, mountains draped with snow.

I can see country roads meandering
along the way, past many farms
with fields of new mowed hay.

I see the tiny villages, buildings
old and new, country churches
with steeples and wooden pews.

I can feel the changing seasons
tho I'm not there. I treasure
memories of loved ones and special
times we shared.

Yes, Vermont is on my mind,
It will always be a special
part of my life, and very dear to me.
