Love to read Christmas poems and this is surely a neat one to read today. Christmas comes faster and faster each year the older you get but enjoying it is to be. I love Christmas season and can hear those bells ringing and see the snows coming too. Enjoy your Christmas and Merry Christmas to you 2008 again.

Santa is a big part of Christmas, even though we all know the true meaning of Christmas we can still enjoy the fun and mystical pleasures of a wide eyed child on Christmas morning. My granddaughter who is three saw Santa at Dairy Queen yesterday and she was terrified of him, until he pulled his beard down and she discovered that the jolly fat man in the red suit was...her daddy. When I asked her what she thougth about him, she simply replied,"it's okay Nanny, Santa is just daddy!" Enjoyed this one much.

As a Child I use to wait for Santa I always fell asleep he always came. Thank you for sharing this nostalic tale in this poem.
