Kindered souls with pen in hand Leave trails of ink across this land Lasting thoughts left on parchment bold Are special legacies of stories told Many write of their personal thoughts, Joys and sorrows life has brought Others use imagination and excitement galore to keep us interested, wanting more A part of themselves will be left behind A testament of their muse for future generations to find

Hi MaryGrace, when I chose this poem I knew it would be a great write. I so agree with you on the "kindred souls with pen in hand." Sometimes when I am writing I stop and think, hmmm...I wonder who is writing words with imagination at this moment. Thanks for reminding us just how connected we really are as writers. Enjoyed this piece!
