Tonight a doctor told my son in laws
father he was going to die.
The doctor did not consult the family before doing this!
All of Judson's children and grandchildren were at the hospital visiting him. He had stated he felt a little better and was hoping to go home soon.
Now this idiot Doctor has taken away all hope with his crass uncaring statements! HOW could he do this to a loving, caring, Christian family man????
Everyone is upset and poor Judson is now trying to deal with his immenent death!
Should people be told they are going to die? I believe it depends upon the circumstances and what the family wants done.
A person needs hope and something tangible to hang onto. He had no idea he was in such bad shape.
NOW all hope is gone. He must fell so terrible trying to cope with this devastating news.
Can you imagine how you'd feel?
Please pray for him to have the courage to face this and that God will be gracious enough to let him die peacefully. Please pray for all of us too.. Its very hard to deal with.

God bless him and tell him not to believe everything he hears--not even from a doctor. God has been known to create miracles. Tell him to believe in what he wants to happen, not in doctor-induced fear.
I'll be praying for the family, M.G. and that Jesus will simply open the door when he passes on so, he may walk through with his head held high.

I had a caring doctor give me news about my elderly mother and then quietly whisper to me not to tell her. He told me she could have quality of life if we kept it to ourselves, and as a doctor he had to tell me the truth, but that if it were his mother, he would keep his lips silent about it forever and let her go on with hope, and not even tell her how serious it was.
This was several years ago and she is still living, feeling strong.
