The house is brightly decorated

A seven foot tree stands in the living room. Soon Santa will be here.
We're waiting for St Nick's arrival
on this special Christmas Eve as we celebrate the birth of Christ with awe and reverie.
As we gather near the tree, we remember
Christmases of long ago when you were here with us and laughter filled our home.
We miss your presence in our lives,
sweet memories remain. Nostalgia fills our hearts as we hear Silent Night's melodic refrains.
We know you are in Heaven and we will let our hearts rejoice, for you are spending another Christmas with God and his heavenly hosts.
Merry Christmas my dearest! I hope you'll receive these heart felt thoughts, for I am sending them in a loving Christmas letter to your wonderful celestial home.
