My great grandson, Connor, age 6 months journeyed to Heaven on Oct 26, 2017. Four of us were in a horrific car accident on Oct 22. I wrote this poem for him and it was read at his funeral!

Connor was an innocent baby, so lovable and smart. His radiant smile lit up the room and touched everyone's hearts.

He spent many a day jumping up and down in his green bouncy chair. His happy squeals and frequent baby chatter delighted everyone who was there.

Then one day our Lord called Connor away and he went to Heaven, forever more to stay.

He's now one of God's little angels, who is always near by. His beautiful soul
is carried by the wind as it whispers hushed lullabies.

Connor plays with bright shiny stars that are a part of each velvety night.

He smiles and laughs at rainbows , with their delicate hues of pastel light.

He is at peace and resides in God's Heavenly home. A host of angels are near by as he plays by our Savior's golden throne.

Some day we'll meet Connor again when our earthly journey comes to an end. We'll spend eternity together in that Celestial place, enjoying everlasting life and our Lord's amazing grace.
