All artists are workers, too; and just as often the reverse is true . There are skills to learn and apply. apprenticeships to be fulfilled, experiments to try, fail in and try again. The dividing line between work and play, application and reward, life, work, and art is always hazy at best. The following poem is about musicians, but it could apply to any art.

Sure we're artisans
Like weavers and plumbers
Pursuing skill in a craft
Success in a trade.
We barter wormanship for reward
Living for those few moments
When it all comes together
A cadence in a chorale
A combo in perfect sync
Or just as single phrase
In pedestrian performance
Investing thousands of instants
For the ones that really work
And in them knowing again
Our why and what it's worth.
This is a grand review of the artists and their works. It's true, that when it all comes together, it's a wonderful feeling to know, it worked!
Excellent!
