Te quiero por que

            You make the smallest person feel big

            And the biggest disappointment seem small

            And you give the world all of you

            Without losing anything at all

I love you because you’re you

 

Te quiero por que

            Your touch is gentle your convictions strong

            You mix tears and laughter

            The big and little things you do

            Balance the world around you

I love you because you’re you

 

Te quiero por que

            You light dark days with a smile

            And warm cold hearts with hugs

            You give the world all of you

            Without losing anything at all

I love you because you’re you

 

I love you because you’re you

And because of you I love being me
