I used to think I was blind
looking for things I’d never find
My visions weren’t clear
until you brought them near
Your voice came in the night
talked my dreams to life
It was love at first sound
when you spoke my dreams aloud
Hoping for escapes they couldn’t find
dreams stayed locked in my mind
sand castles I’d never live in
end results without any plans
You brought stars to a cloudy night
opened my ears to hear the light
and it was love at first sound

What a glorious gift you are to me
whispering what I refused to see
